The title of this film is a tribute to Derek Jarman, after his film of 1985
Thanks to Derek Jarman, for his movies, his writings, his paintings and his garden
Thanks to Alice Fox for our trip to Dungeness
The garden, where the trees are standing: a thinking place, a meditation space and a twilight zone.
The trees do not move, they grow where they are planted or sprouted.
For every child born here, we planted a tree in the garden.
I walk through the garden to the studio where I model my sculptures in clay.
I model the children, with their loved ones, their friends and their ancestors that passed away.
The sculptures become a conversation with angels.
The trees I model around them as a mantle.
