I kept these seven leaves when roaming Aokigahara Jukai, the forest at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. And in the garden at home I cut back the meandering branches of the wisteria that strangle the cherry-tree.
Wisteria is called ‘Fuji’ in its country of origin Japan and ‘Blauwe Regen’ in Dutch.

Ik bewaarde de zeven bladeren in Aokigahara Jukai, het woud aan de voet van de berg Fuji in Japan. En thuis in de tuin snoeide ik de slingerende takken die de kersenboom wurgen uit de blauweregen .
Wisteria wordt in het land van herkomst, Japan, ‘Fuji’ genoemd en in het Nederlands ‘Blauwe Regen’.
