Pashupatinath Temple is the very old Hindu temple-complex in Kathmandu, on the bank of the Bagmati River. The ritual burning of the death is executed there. The bodies are carried to the river, wrapped in white cloths and cremated at the funeral pyres on the shore.
Only Hindu people are allowed to enter the temple. But anyone is free to sit on a bench nearby the river.
